MISE EN SCENE 

First Year Unit X/ Federation House/ Live Project

A unique collaboration between the RNCM, Transport for Greater Manchester, Albino Mosquito and Manchester School of Art's Unit X initiative.  Music from Berlioz, Vaughan Williams and Poulenc will be brought alive on the trams from St Peter's Square to Shudehill, and in the basement of Federation House.  Students from the School of Art and the RNCM's Opera singers will transform the spaces to reflect the inspirations of the music and the city. The Mise en scene  project allowed me to collaborate with other interior design students as well as a creative multimedia student to create a space that would embody the first two tracks from Hector Berlioz’s collection: Villanelle and  Le Spectre de la rose.
